    It is the same height as the desk behind it and is a little less than half the size of it. It is solid oak with tongue and groove boards that make up the top and each draw is dove tailed. There is also a combination lock above the pull handle on each drawer that actually locks the drawer (but I don't have the combination) and there is a side door on the right that extends the length of the cabinet. I have some guesses as to what it might be, but just not sure. Can anyone help me name it? Or know where it originated from or what it was used for and how much it's worth?

      Thank you for the post! That helps a lot and I had thought it might be some law office furniture, but now with the tips you gave me a blue-print desk or architecht desk would also seem to fit. If anyone else has any more ideas, please feel free to comment! Thanks again....
