This extremely heavy brass tool (?) belongs to my husband. Someone gave it to him and they didn't know what it was either. Both pieces are very heavy. The part with the handle (center of photo) fits into the part on the right in the picture. We are so curious to know what this is and what is was used for. It is so frustrating to have an antique and not even know what it is!! I don't even know enought to place it in the correct category. Please help solve our mysteries!
