This is a bracelet my great grandmother gave my mother. The story is, my great grandfather gave it to her before they got married. As to where he got it, I have no idea, but I do know it was gifted to her in the early to mid 20's. I see it is stamped goldfilled on the back of the ruby setting and the initials R.B.M.
For the life of me I can't find RBM to see what it stands for. I always liked this piece when I was a little girl because I thought it to be very pretty. I just wish I could find out more about it.

I found this in an online search, "This is the makers mark of R.B. MacDonald & Company, Inc.- Attleboro, Massachusetts. According to American Jewelry Manufacturers by Dorothy T. Rainwater, the company was in business as early as 1874 and the last known listing was in 1922. They specialized in the manufacture of gold filled jewelry, emblematic goods, and photo cases."
