My neighbor has this pipe that was her grandfathers in the 1800's. Would any one know any thing about it? It says Verona on it.

She also has this odd key ? maybe a skate key ? Or a tool ?

And this odd looking thing that was her grandmother's. The right side closes into the top.

    Unsolved Mystery

Are there any other marks beside Verona? It might be a symbol, letter or shape.
There is wiki for pipes you know:
      http://pipedia.org/index.php?title=Main_Page

      It's called pipedia!

I think the object on the right might well be pipe-oriented too! A Tamper combination?
      en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pipe_tool
The one in the middle might be a reamer for a pipe? Does it have a patent number or is it just patent pending.
      Hop this helps.
It looks like a beautiful pipe. Very Germanic, European, Italian?

The odd thing your Grandmother had could be a small early Juicer or press.

If its a press for food, its small. The right side folds into the top

Beautiful, graceful pipe! The tool in the center is a pipe reamer. As the pipe is smoked and emptied out, there is always some residual tobacco and residue that remains, that will eventually choke the bowl. A reamer removes the last few layers. When using a reamer, one must be careful to remove only residue; you don't want to remove any of the material that makes up the bowl (wood, meerschaum, etc. ). As far as the last tool, it appears to be a tobacco tamper. The part that folds out is probably a cleaning tool to help loosen the last bits of burnt tobacco when emptying the pipe.
