These are new pictures taken today after I remove the polish I am still unsure I think they are Jade maybe Amethyst but I don't think so its the colors that have me fooled they have a real silky fill and when I rinsed them off the water beaded up like they would on wax they are extremely cold and hard to tell by the pictures but in the light they are translucent in most areas Any help would reAlly be AppreciAted and help me identify what they're made of Thank you for Taking The Time To look.

Not jade or amethyst I'm afraid. Very rough and crude workmanship. Apologies but it looks eerie.

Tested in what way I'm curious? Any idea what kind of jade then? I am open to learning about new materials. The surface and edges are full of abrasion and chips - hardly see such problems on good quality jadeite or nephrite. The term Jade can include a range of low to top quality stones, so buyers beware. Pardon me, but such workmanship rarely goes with good quality jade. Some food for thought. =)

this piece looks like it's been chiseled. jade is way too hard to chisel. it can only be 'carved' by abrasion. carved jade is made by very slowly abrading it w/ carborundum or diamond abrasion bits. these do not look like abrasion-made pieces to me - at all.
