I have had this doll for several years. My husbands work bought an old house they were going to level and they let us go in and take what we wanted and I found him. He has a red stamp on his back that reads "Germany". Any information would be wonderful. Thanks!

Very cute little German Google eye doll ! many companies in Germany made these as novelty dolls and would be near impossible to figure out which one without a mark by company. The company name will not affect her value . Doll house collectors and cabinet size doll collectors would like her . She dates from 1920's to 40's . Very cute little doll . It does look like there is something on back of neck like a raised symbol is there ?

This doll is adorable and the molded hat is pretty unique. Carnivals during the 20's have been known to use prizes that look very similar to this doll. They did this all over the world. If the mark on his back doesn't appear to be a maker's mark, then perhaps this was a carnival doll and they were given out stuck to a stick. Are his arms on little hooked like springs?
