Another mystery item. I had mixed feelings on this one. I don't think it's brass maybe copper. The colors are really deep. She is heavy! She is on some really nice wood...teak? No markings. I could guess at date from the 70s back to the 40s. Thoughts? I really just don't know. Art student piece? Bombay? Fancy artist? She is sending my brain in too many directions so I am turning to the team for an assist. THANKS!

How tall is this? It almost looks like it's made from brazing rod for welding. basically melting the rod into a slag puddle.
I know it is an odd mix! (and I can weld!) It is about six inches tall, easily 8 inches long. Heavy! I first thought weld project myself, so we might be on the same page fossil hunter...
If this is a weld project, it's a stroke of genius, and I like the addition of a handsome wood base. There's a real artist at work here. I love it!!!
