The one with the bow is 1ok with a nice red stone, I have 2 off these ones 6" long , What could this stone be?
The other has no words i can find but is built beautiful the pin is metal my magnet works on the pin only. If it came from Hong Kong would it has a gold name? Near the bottom is some gray solder, maybe when it was made. 8 " long, Any help?
The hexagonal stone looks like bloodstone, the loop I am guessing was for the option of adding charms to the pin. It looks like some sort of tower, if you put the stone face down. The wear on these pins look like gold wear, but you can never tell for sure through a picture. The bow style was quite popular in the mid to late 1800's, as was diamonds and rubys. My first thought was ruby, although it could be anything from a spinel, garnet, ruby, maybe even a pink sapphire (if the ornate part is solid gold).
These are absolutely stunning pieces, I would say they're from the mid to late 1800's and I hope they're gold!!
The bow one is marked gold 12 k i found this very small mark, the other one is so beautiful, it must be gold , i do see the gray solder which you can see on the left file, above to the left.
I got a set for the test of gold yesterday the big one is Gold 14. I have a lot to test now.
