These are some of my 10 inch records,I have about 40 of them,I hope someone can tell me something about them.I found about 8 of these albums with Scottish music on them. And more Glenn Miller and other swing bands.I have tried to find out more about them, like there worth or anything.I had no idea that(Ken Curtis) who played (Fetus) on Gunsmoke use to sing with Son's of the Pioneers and also with the Tommy Doresy band.I went on (youtube) and pulled up Ken Curtis singing,I could hardly believe what i was hearing. He sang beautiful.I always loved him on Gunsmoke.

Researching records is very easy 99% of the time. Look at the top right of the Glenn Miller sleeve in the little box is the number LPT-3065. Just type that number in Google. Different labels use different sequences of letters and numbers. M usually indicates Mono and S for stereo. If the number alone doesn't bring back your album type in "RCA Victor LPT-3065". The same number should be on the label in the center of the record. That is how you make sure the right record is in the right sleeve.

You will find more information than you need and really wide price ranges. I have a couple hundred LP's I am researching and entering in a spreadsheet. Most aren't terribly in demand and most are worth very little. All deserve to be researched because the one you think is junk can turn out to be worth $100.

PS: The number may be located anywhere on the sleeve, front or back, top or bottom.

It's true that Ken Curtis had a beautiful voice. I remember him singing on some variety show back in the sixties, and was amazed. Also "Gomer Pyle" (Jim Nabors) had a nice voice too.

I thank you both for the information.I use to hate Gunsmoke when i was a kid but daddy watched it.Now that i'm much older it comes on everyday and i never miss it.What you told me about the Glenn Miller albums i will do,i want to know more about them.I'm starting to sell some of my collection because i have to many.6,000 is to much.I see what i'm going to have to do is break them down by the types of music, people who have wrote me want certain ones and i made the mistake of not keeping them in order. But again thank you for your help.
