He has short mohair and is between 13 and 14 inches long in good working condition. He has a squeaker that doesn't work. Also I would like to find out his approx. age.

Your cute Schuco bear appears to have replaced feet . He was a much loved bear and got alot of kisses as it wore his nose out to . It look like maybe one eye is replaced. As his feet would have been made of felt and it wore out or moths ate through a Mom tried to save him for her chils and repaired nose with white stitching and likely reinforced feet as straw was coming out of holes . He is a wonderful bear and does his head still move when you lift tail ?

He is a great bear and like I said I believe he was just mended to last some child a bit longer . His felt is most apt to still be under leather however it will be worn I would say with holes which are common on the old felt . Little critters liked to chew on them like mice and moths . Very nice that he also still works ! Love him !

Your bear is an early one . I would say 20's to 30's :-)
