    Bowl by Pierre D'Avesn (Pierre Girre) subsiduary of Daum 1926-1932
    factory operated from Lorrain, France. D'Avesn apprenticed for Lalique before working for the Daum family producing items under his own name for a short period before the depression.

      All are signed P.D'Avesn France, some have model numbers but this doesn't. this one is my favourite and goes well against my chinese red coffee table in full sunlight. :)

      can't say i know much about him. his work is nice, a little simple for my eye. I'm trying to keep to one niche in my collecting. My theory is that it will be cheaper........ somehow.
