This pair of baskets looks great in my art glass display case. Each has a green thorn handle and two applied flowers.

I really like the way the cranberry tops stand out with the green handles.

The bottom of each shows a rough pontil mark.

They have fantastic glow under a black light.

I believe they are most likely Bohemian in origin.

    Thanks for looking!

My money would be on English for this piece. Stourbridge area.

might also consider Stevens and Williams

Thanks for looking and commenting owl and cakes.

The rough pontil and colors would lead me to believe czech rather than a UK maker.

Not all English glass had polished pontil's and the colors are quite typical for England as well. I wouldn't think S and W or Webb or Richardson because of the rough pontil but there are lesser makers that didn't go to that effort.

Thanks shawn. If memory serves me right-- they looked FANTASTIC under a black light. I haven't black lighted them in over a decade, but will try and find the light and look again.

If I get some good photos, I will post them here!
