Found these at a garage sale. They were asking $12, but talked them down to $3 for the six-pack. They are 8 oz. Dr Pepper bottles, full, and unopened. The caps are Coke Classic which show to have been bottled in Lufkin, Texas. The woman having the garage sale said her daughter worked at the plant at the time and was able to take them home as they were a mistake. Did I make a good deal?

I don't believe that the two products would EVER have been in the same bottling plant due to being different companies. I will hide and watch on this one !

I have seen it too with different companies bottling soft drinks in same facility, saves space and other overhead costs. I would think they are worth more than you paid, but how much more??? no idea. It would depend on how many are out there and how bad someone would want them.

Thing two learned today, I thought they were bitter rivals shows you what I know.

I understand, but in a small town like lufkin, it makes sense, especially if you have a limited distribution area, but its too expensive to ship dp/coke from Houston or DFW.
