This is a piece I came across yesterday and am asking help to identify maker and actual pattern. This is what I know after hours of research. It is a Blue Opalescent Hobnail Pitcher with a thumbprint base. The piece is old, it flouresces green under UV and has usual wear to the base. It measures 7" high. I also know Doyle and US glass made a hobnail thumbprint, but this piece doesn't resemble the same. I also know Jefferson and Northwood made a lot of blue opalescent. This also does have similar mold patterns to Northwood pitchers, but not with the pannelling it is round. I have checked all old glass makers with the resources I have, so any help would be appreciated. Thank you,

Fenton did make a hobnail with this thumbnail base design. So you might try researching Fenton until the Fenton experts chime in. Very nice pitcher!

Thanks for your input on this, I also looked at that pattern on fenton but couldn't find it in blue opalescent or in pitcher or a pitcher blank like this, but did have Fenton on the suspicion list with Northwood. Thank you for the nice pitcher it really is pretty. Thanks again,

Hi I find some same shape in the book "vaseline Glass" at page 42
"Daisy Drape" same shape but not Hobnail and mean that is probably English origin . But is a very nice piece .

I have several pieces in this same pattern. I have a large water pitcher, butter dish, sugar bowl, creamer, large fruit bowl, 9 small fruit bowls, and 6 flat tumblers. I have searched endlessly for maker and age. Does anyone have additional information on this pattern? Thanks! Jena
