I've been carrying this bill around for years. I was offered $50 for it but from what I can figure out so far, it might be worth more. Anybody got any suggestions of how much and where I should go to sell it? I'm not a collector (at all). Thank you!

Your local coins shop would buy it. Do some research on ebay and see what error $20 bills from this decade sell for.

I see a similar bill on ebay for $145.00. That's the current asking price - I know it doesn't necessarily mean it will sell at that. Local coin shop offered me $50 based on the large amount of ink on the bill, but they also said they honestly were not buyers of paper, just coin.

That sounds right all around. Coin/currency dealers buy @ about 50% of what they think they can sell for. If I wanted to sell, I'd post on eBay with an opening bid of $99 and see what happens.
