    needs to be rebound.

Never depend on others to do your research. Do it yourself and there is only one person to answer to.

This is a first edition post

Check eBay and other auction sites for sales info. Most of these types of books sell for just a few dollars, and first edition means nothing if it was the only edition. As fhrjr2 says, you can do the research yourself. Unless its a rare or desirable book, I can't imagine it would be worth having restoration work done.

Since this was a series of books, there's a lot of info out there. Try Google.

Thanks for the input here as well. I did do research and did check google and came up with very little on this one. Doesn't seem to be posted anywhere and there are 2 Donald Fergusons, both were politicians but both bios on wikipedia don't mention anything about being authors.
Guess I'll just have to keep at it. Thought someone might have heard of this author. Guess I'll wait on the binding job. Thanks for both comments.

If you had Googled it you would know it is worth $6 to $8 . It isn't common but it also isn't something people are actively seeking. If it doesn't say first edition that is a question already answered. I have first edition Hans Anderson but the author is a nobody. Nobody = $0.00
