I have a Mint copy of The Beatles Revolver album - it has Side A pressed on both sides - as you can see from the photos, the labels are correct for the album.
I am wondering how rare this error is.

Interesting find! I've never heard of this error, but although it might indeed make it more collectible, it sucks that half the songs are missing!
One of my favorite Beatles albums, by the way.
"(MINT) Perfection, no flaws, defects, marks or otherwise indications of being handled or played. Any scuffs, hairline scratches or other marks disqualify discs from this category. I do not use this grade, as even the act of inserting the disc or removing it from the paper sleeve may cause scuff marks on the vinyl."
To packrat-place:
I was working at Sam Goody's record store in 1976 and a customer came in saying the copy of Revolver he bought had this error - I replaced his copy and then pulled all the other copies from the shelf. We had tested his copy so we knew what to look for. I opened each one and only tested the first word or two "One, Two, Three" (The beginning of Taxman) on each side.
No need to play any more. I put the album away in my record collection and never played it again - I have many other correct copies. The Jacket does however, have a tiny bit of wear from sitting between other albums but the vinyl is as the day I bought it.

I also have been collecting records for a very long time, since the 1960's. No disrespect was meant to you, it is just that I cringe when someone uses the term “mint” to describe a record. Personally, I feel they should do away the tern in respect to record grading all together. Les Docks in his American Premium Record Guide does not use it and Jerry Osborne does not use it in his Official Price Guide To Records, the highest grade he uses under SS is NM.
With all that said, you have a very nice record, and yes, there is some slight ringwear at the top of the front cover.
Do you keep it in a poly sleeve? That will help reduce ringwear considerably.

Thanks for the info, I appreciate comments from a "Real Collector" - I am not a collector so I am not really familiar with the rating system. I used Mint because the record has not been played except as noted above. I don't plan on selling it but, if I were to sell it, I would have someone grade it properly for me. It's just an oddity that I have had in my cabinet for 35 years. I will put it in a poly sleeve to stop anymore cover wear.
