    writting barley can see 11 3/5 7/10
    Has a 6 .
    April something..
    And more writting I can't figure out..
    Anyone have any ideas??

      I personally don't know anything about this pocketwatch, but I think someone on this site(CW) might steer you in the right direction. I'd say from what I do know about vintage timepieces, that is was Swiss made and it's a 6 jewel , cylinder escape type movement. Sorry wasn't any help, but thanks for sharing this neat timepiece and good luck on your quest for info.

      A photo of the movement(guts,inside)would be very helpful in determining the watch maker.With the photo someone on here may be able to help you.
      The writing you can barely see is most likely those of service marks a jeweler would make every time the watch was serviced.Without seeing them there is no way of knowing for sure.

      What you have is a Swiss-made "Demi-Hunter" pocket watch in sterling or coin silver. The were made popular by Napoleon as the story goes, he was tired of opening his watch to tell the time so he had his watch maker cut a hole in the front. It had a special hour hand with double pointers. It should have another crystal on the front cover as well. Most times these movement were never signed.
