    Needinform…
    (2 items)

Horse is about 8 1/2" tall, about 8 1/2" long

It is Stamped with a Hummel blue full bee stamp.

It has either has an imbed word, or number in black, to the right of the V Bee stamp, but it's so faint I can't read it. It isn't a solid stamp.

It looks like it's a colt and not a grown horse.

I've been told it is not a Hummel!!! They said Hummel never made horses.
Does anyone have any ideas about this horse?

Thank you for the information, I will lookup Staffordshire horses.
The stamp of Hummel is a 1950's V Bee stamp.
Hummel never made animals, except for the Nativity animals.
      That is what stumps me.

I e-mailed Goebel Co. in Germany. I have a reply.
"We assume that your foal is our model CE 56. This foal was modelled by our sculptor, Erich Lautensack in 1938. In 1960 it was withdrawn from our program."

Does anyone have this model #CE56 to verify that it is this horse. V high bee 1950-1957.
