    I remember my grandmother using this platter to serve deviled eggs. How much is it worth? I was offered only $10 for this. Naturally I turned it down.

      A bit later than the 1940s. This is Indiana Glass Company from the 1970s.

      To get a better idea of what things sell for on eBay, you need to search completed auctions to see what items actually sold for, rather than current auctions and Buy It Now auctions that are relisted numerous times because the item is not selling.
