Found this watch going through estate items of my grandfather. Surprised to find the watch actually runs!! Curious if anyone can tell me anything about this piece? Vintage and model?

So far i haven't found vintage Baume & Mercier, but the new ones are high dollar, the least expensive being $1200.00 and the most going for $10,000. I'm going to keep looking. I'm fairly sure the case is 18k gold. It's beautiful!

      Hi Jim,
I am fairly sure that is a hallmark on the upper left lug and if you can get the back open, there should be a touch-mark for the gold content. Great watch.

Don't ya just love old watches!? I don't know much about them, but I enlarged your pictures and was wondering if you had checked what the mark on the back of the upper left lug is (as you face the watch), the one on the bar between the top lugs, on the left side and what it says at the edge of the 6 o'clock position? There also looks like a mark on the back side of the upper right lug, but with the glare, I can't be sure. Good luck on your search.
