What can you tell me about these two lamps... are they hobnail milk glass lamps and are they worth much? Are they even collectible?

    Thanks,

    Katherine

I love them! If I saw them at a sale and could afford them, I'd lunge for them. Very beautiful. Perfect for my white room.

Hi, rural_charms. Found your lamp on ebay for about $10.00, but I am astonished at the low prices realized on ebay of late....And of course, having a matched pair increases its value. Here's the ebay link:

Oh wow, I am astonished as well. I paid more than that. Oh well, I might just have to keep them and find beautiful lamp shades to go with it.

Please look through my album and see if you can recognize anything else on my list.

      Thanks.

Oh, I value them much more highly, too. Ebay is often a useful measure of value, but often it is far off the mark. Do you recall that 'Shabby Chic' line that used to be (perhaps still is) featured at Target? I have a white porcelain lamp in my blue and white kitchen. I bought at Target a Shabby Chic shade fashioned of white cotton voile (or other very light cotton fabric), with pale blue roses on it. Very beautiful against my blue and white wallpaper. At the time, Target also had this pattern with pink roses. As a matter of fact, they had quite a few feminine cotton 'Shabby Chic' shades that would suit these lamps perfectly. I am sure that you will find some somewhere soon. Enjoy your treasures! Regards, miKKo
