This clock is an Perivale clock made in Great Britian, It is in perfect working order. Chimes Wesminister every quarter hour and on the hour dates from about 1935.

These clocks were marketed under various names, this one was marketed under "Anvil" which helps to date it. They were also marketed under "Bentima" etc. This one dates from about 1935 when the Perivale Co opened.

I have an anvil that is very similar to this one. Yours is beautiful. I'm a bit of a clock nut, thanks for sharing!

I purchased an Anvil mantle clock at a flea market. I have refurbished it and is now in working order. It was however missing the pendulum. Does anyone know where I could find one or even the dimensions and weight?

I've owned many clocks similar to this and have about 2 clocks right now made by the same company. I recognise the type of pendulum used - very sturdy and easy to regulate the nut inside the pendulum bob. Bentima/Perivale names spring to mind with this type of clock and they were made in England.

Pendulums for your one, unless you've got one already now, can be bought pretty easily and cheaply on eBay is my best advice.
