This is a Vintage or Possible Antique Tin Type Boulevard Stop Sign, the way I found it (all red). I'm sure someone painted it, but why all red?
It is all tin and shows well, back is very dirty looking, but for the age very good condition. It is embossed 15 1/2" long by 1' tall.
I was told it came from Miami, but not sure. If anyone knows the age and where these were used please let me know. Also, if anyone knows the color combination that was suppose to be used, I would like to fix it right.

I'm wondering if the sign was going to have reflective letters added on? I remember my mom and grandma always referred to a stop sign as a 'boulevard stop'. I guess that was a legitimate term!
