these were brought to me tonight by a friend for payment i did on his computer .. i was told that the pen was gold and the pencil was gold filled .( my friend saysthe pen is gold and take it to a jewelers ) i believe him !!!
the pencil is marked / stamped : SHEAFFER'S LIFETIME GOLD-FILLED PAT.-PAT. PENDG. ( as shown in the pictures ) it works
the pen is marked / stamped SHEAFFER'S and the tip of the pen reads SHEAFFER'S No. 1
the pen does have a couple of very small dings but nothing bad .
they have the loop on them .. these are a smaller set that are 3 1/2 inches long and the plastic case is worn
They don't make sets with one in gold and the other in filled, they're either both gold or both filled. Does it have 14k on it anywhere? It not, its not gold..
