Black Walnut New England Style Bed

I bought this beautifull walnut bed from a older couple 15 years ago. He told me this was his wifes grandmothers bed back east. I had no reason not to beleave him. I have the oringial Burlwood peice that goes in the center instead if the glass. I put the glass in with a light in the back. It looked good for awhile, tell I couldn't sleep with that on all night!!!! LoL... Bed is in the guest room now... I see this bed Hmmmm, early 1900s? What do U say era wise?
