This bowl was given to me by a ninety- three year old lady and her mother gave it to her. It is a cut glass bowl with several different designs.

It is pressed glass, not cut. The pattern is J.B. Higbee's Fortuna. If you look closely in the center of the inside, you may find the company's trademark of a bee with the letters H I G over its wings and body.

I have two of these, use them for camelias and other flat flowers and we call them camelia bowls here in the south... a beautiful old piece (older aunts gave me mine).

Most people call this a rosebowl, but this bowl is labeled "Nut Bowl" in a J.B. Higbee catalog.
