My father was aboard the USS Tern at Pearl Harbor on Dec 7th 1941. He never really talked about that day until later in his life. After he had passed away I had found some of these remember pearl harbor pin backs and buttons in a drawer. I got interested in the slogan "Remember Pearl Harbor" and have added numerous items to the collection. In 1999 I took a sample of these pins and buttons to the Antique Road Show to see what the value would be. To my surprise my collection ended up being one of the televised features of the show. I had my quote "15 minutes of fame" The top right button has a photo of my mother & dad,
my mother wore this button during the five years he was gone.

Nice, I have 3 or 4 of the ones shown here, I the one I LIKE BEST is the top - right somehow I would bet you feel the same, My dad joined just after Pearl.
