      I'm working on a biography of Anthony Overton, the President of Overton-Hygienic. Sadly, when the company went out of business in 1983, company artifacts, such as THE ENCYCLOPEDIA OF COLORED PEOPLE, were thrown in the dumpster. I know you want to keep what you rightly call a "priceless' item. Perhaps, we can discuss you making a copy for me...I would cite your assistance in my book.
