    purchased in 1984 with 4 games and user manual guide on cassette tape. in 1984 the sinclair spectrum was the most popular of the home computers----my landlord had the texas ti 99 4a computer.

      Nice. Here in Australia the first “computer” I ever owned was a beige and brown Texas Instruments machine called the TI 99/4a. You had a series of push in programmes. It was the first commercially produced 16 bit computer; around 1983.
