This is a very large and beautifully wrought sand painting by Jan and Sharon Peterson from Mountain View, CA. I am going to guess that this was made right around 1976. I'm not sure whether this would be considered 'Mid-century' or not. ?? I purchased this a while ago, but just dug it out recently and it's really a nice piece - very beautifully made.
