Does anyone know about these Albums? I just discovered them in my packed away "stuff". They are pretty interesting, with English song Titles and Japanese translations

The article that's linked in the little info box above (Japanese Record Issues) has some interesting information about the red vinyl. My first thought when I saw them was that they might be records pressed for American servicemen stationed in Okinawa, but after reading the article, it seems that American music was very popular in Japan during the 50s and 60s. Great find!

I know my father sold some Japanese records for some good money, I don't know if these are valuable though. Check eBay

Taiwan copies. I have hundreds of them. They sold for about $.70 back in the day. Vietnam servicemen brought them home by the stacks. Love the Gene Pitney album.
