Ok everyone, here is a real challenge as I have had a few peeps look at this piece already and nobody had a clue as to what it is! Or more accurately, who its really by...

A small-ish framed tile I came across quite recently which fascinated me from the moment I saw it. Its texture just really appealed and of course, since it was signed by hand I knew it was not from ikea (no kidding!)

Its signed by "Anne Stark" who also has a Danish-like signature in the corner and then a name of the piece "Fasor". It had an auction lot number sticker so my hopes were high for this piece.

If you have any idea who this artist might be please please tell me. I am simply puzzled!

I always assume unidentified artwork is student work, unless proven otherwise, LOL!
The subject matter looks like trees on a hillside. Lovely work. Sorry I can't be any help!

I am thinking a forest too. Good point, student work! OR just someone who is not very well known. People tend to attribute better pieces to well known individuals.
