I also love these!!! Capri is one of the best Bang's latest series (well, in fact theywere the three famous one: Capri, Groen and Opaline). The large one I've also got and is truly amazing, isn't it?

Beautiful. What do you mean with "optically blown"? Can you show this?

cobaltcobold hope this helps tried to use google translate

OPTICAL BLOWN glass The glass is placed in a mold with for example ribs, the "optics form", then the glass is blown in a mold or free-blown, whereby a difference in wall thickness, and thus, in the color is visible on the outside: the optical effect, even at clear glass it effect remains visible .

when you feel the large one on the outside you can feel "ribs"going down verticaly and it these "ribs"the color slighty divers its a great effect when you walk past or slightly turn it around ( when i count correctly there are 4 ribs going down from the top to the bottom I feel it makes it look slimmer its a very faint effect tried to get it on photo not yet succeeded) some of the capri serie have this (http://www.hardernet.dk/Image_DGM/Foto_GLAS/Capri-Serie-1A-Jacob_E._Bang_1961-1973.jpg you can slightly see it in this photo the large one and the one on the right have it) the other 2 i have feel complettely smooth on the outside and have no visual effect when you turn them.

In the netherlands A.Copier used this alot this is a Copier example in clear glass http://www.nationaalglasmuseum.nl/index.php?option=com_memorixbeeld&view=record&Itemid=25&id=gla:col1:dat13692&tstart=

      hope this all helped

@vlkma238412. Thank you. I was never quite sure how to understand this term. Now I know better. I have an optical vase bei Eric Jachmann for WMF, inspired by Bang, I suppose, with the ribs inside. I already wanted to present it, but I am not so satisfied with my pictures. Thank you for the wonderful link to the Danish glassmuseum. All these wonderful designs by Per Lütken. It's a very useful site, exemplary, I would say.
