I picked up this vintage sewing machine/singer machine from a deseased estate. I recognize this piece as Sweden Husqvarna "12"; but from another mark
"rothenborg" that indicates it is a Danmark trademark. Really confused.... it is a manual one rather than a electric piece
Any one can tell?

it's simple...once the whole thing was husqvarna...the actual sewing machine broke...but the frame mounted another sewing machine on the old frame...

    To Rockstar1998:
Nice guessing, yes the case and the machine bear different brands.

    To Bellin68:
Thank you!~~The most important things are that the sewming machine is a manual one and it works, because it is a gift for my mother who are only able to use manual one. After her retirement, she would like to do some needle works that recall her childhood. I just want to find relevant information to help her to start to use it as it is really hard to find instruction for a vintage sewing machine.

either that...(it's the most plausible...since in those times they were expensive...and you couldn't get just the frame/carying would buy the whole thing or reuse parts)...or it's fake...but i doubt that since you say it's functional...usually fakes fall appart and are not usable..they look like they are ok but when you try to use them they break almost instant...
    I myself got a Singer...but it's with a foot pedal...(and original spare parts)

this machine certainly looks to be a Husqvarna, that has been sold or serviced by the Danish company that has added their badge. No mystery, just a retailer adding their 'mark' :)
