    I found these old pliers at a second hand store. I am not 100% sure they are pliers, maybe they have another purpose. They look old, in good condition. The only marking is on the inside of the handle is says:

    "REX"

    Not sure if that is a company or person's name. If anyone has any info. please let me know. Take care!

      Hi, "REX" is a company name. I am completely ignorant of tools, but I see some firms with REX in the name. Here's one of them.

      It could possibly be wire crimping pliers. Would need a picture of just the head closed or almost closed to see it better.

      It looks like the pliers we used to make mink pens. You would put a ring in the grip then place it around two peices of mesh cage screen and close this would make like a hing to keep the sides together. That was back in the 1950's.
