LOVE THIS LAMP. HAS INSCRIPTION ON DEER LEG..G.P.KATO APRIL 14 18. WISH I NEW WHO THIS PERSON IS & WHO CARVED THE GLASS DOME.

Most beautiful lamp!! I see that G.P. Kato was a well-known craftsman or firm. I see patents for him, and a number of quality lamps - from Victorian, to Art Nouveau, to your Arts and Crafts lamp. How sure are you that the figures you read as "April 14 1918" represents a date and not a style number or serial number?
