      Most beautiful lamp!! I see that G.P. Kato was a well-known craftsman or firm. I see patents for him, and a number of quality lamps - from Victorian, to Art Nouveau, to your Arts and Crafts lamp. How sure are you that the figures you read as "April 14 1918" represents a date and not a style number or serial number?

      THIS WAS DOCUMENTED BY AN APPRAISER AS TO THE DATE OF THE LAMP THAT WAS ENGRAVED ON THE LEG OF THE STAG. THANK YOU FOR YOUR COMMENTS
