Beautiful! Sorry, I can't see the mark well enough to try to work on it, but perhaps someone with better resolution will come along soon and help.

Yes I hope someone can help. Have you ever heard of a stoneware potter/artist called Janina story ?

Hi, dtc241079! No, I haven't heard of her. I just spent 20 minutes on Google trying to find her. Do you think that she might be the artist who made this? Please tell me more, if you've inclination. I might not answer right away - a little dizzy now, so I'm going to sign off - but I'll be back tomorrow. By the way, if you can provide measurements and can enhance the signature photo it will help the others. : ) Regards, miKKo

No the reason i ask is i have a few stoneware bowls and the person i brought them from said they was made by a potter called Janina Story. He told me he had brought them from a studio. They are all signed one even dated 1968 i will post them on here.

Hi, dtc241079! I look forward to seeing those bowls! I am hoping that Vetraio50 or Bellin visit this bowl. They might have a good opinion on it. They know so much more of pottery than I do. I just know that it's very beautiful. : ) Regards, miKKo

Hi miKKo. The mark is a bit too faint for me, I'm afraid. I'm sure it will need a US eye familiar with potters' marks.
