My mother used to be an antique dealer and this has been sitting on top of our TV since the 1960's. She passed away 1999 and cannot remember anything about what the signature on the bottom is or about how old it may be. Can somebody please E-mail me about what this possible chinese signature on the bottom says and about how old??
    Thanks!
    Mike D.

Hi Mike, just curious if you found out anything about your asian urn...?
My mother has two, similar, and I've searched high and low for info on them. Morbidly enough, when I inherit the two urns, they'll be filled- one already has Dad's ashes in them and the other will one day have Mom's.
The urns we have are documented to be already over 100 years old and were inherited by my globetrotting Grandmother back in the 40's. Very detailed as are yours, but I've never seen anything similar to ours until now.

Mike...upon a closer look at your photos, yours appear much newer than mine.
