These are classified by insulator collectors as CD-162 H.G.Co's. These come in just about every color you can imagine. I'm always looking for these in colors I don't have in my collection.

    Great colors-- they look like art glass. Are these the original color when made or has exposure to the sun and elements changed them?

    Thanks everyone! These were made by the Hemingray glass company in the late 1800's. Hemingray made these in various colors by speacial order from the factory. Power companies of that time used different colored insulators to mark certain lines from others. I have 5000k bulbs in my light cabinet to back light them.
