    This red pedal car was mine as a small child. My parents gave it to me when I was young but I cant remember the details of how it came into the family.

    I think it might be from an Australian company 'Cyclops' but cant be too sure.

    I would like to restore it as a summer project but as a complete novice a few pointers in the right direction would help.

      I kinda like it just the way it is. I've said on this forum before, "It can only be original once."

      I would love if it was original but unfortunately what you see now is a pedal car due for its second restoration.

      I have one that is similar to this mine is a Duke, cyclops was a branch of triang in australia and designs did alter slightly from them made in the uk, and in canada they were thistle brand. Have a good look at the rubber tyres, mine had on them stamped on the rubber, Lines Bros, London. There were three brothers named Lines, there were three lines in a triangle, hence the name Triang was originated.
