    Found this sitting on the shelf of an auto parts store. Cardboard can with metal ends. 32oz. Small dent and some rust. Don't know if it contains oil or non-dairy whip topping. Can't find any info searching internet. Has anyone seen anything like this?

      I'm sitting here with my morning coffee looking through posts.. and I thought perhaps I had just looked at this wrong! This is just too strange. *LOL* I found the company's website and they have a 'contact us' link on their page. I'd be tempted to contact them about this. I know back when oil came in cans such as this, if you were careful you COULD pop the top on some of them and replace it. Dad would sometimes store odds and ends in them. Maybe the original has been taken off and replaced this lid?? They began operation in the mid '30s and are still open. You can find the page here:
