This is a Prohibition era medicinal whiskey bottle....I think. It say Federal Law Forbids the sale or re-use of this bottle in raised glass in an arch on the bottle. It is one of a bunch of bottles I found. Can anyone tell me when and where and who it was made by? Thanks!

Yes there is D-201, then 72 then, a "n" in a square, then 7 all raised glass on the bottom.

I found an amber half-pint bottle identical to this one and I'm dying to find out who manufactured it. So far I've learned it was made 1932-1964. It likely belonged to my grandfather and his sons did participate in bootlegging. I see your's is one pint... will be waiting to see if anyone else knows this bottle.

I just found one of these in the woods of Virginia, it is a Dixie Dew bourbon whiskey manufactured in 1936, the 72 is the manufacturer’s permit number.
