It has been in my family for years, but it has always been put away, I have never seen it in use. How old is it? Thanks for lookin!

What you have appears to be a model B-165 aladdin table lamp, made from 1955 to 1963. It looke like it is all there except it is missing the mantle, and I can't tell if the wick is there. It has what is called a lox-on chimney,because it sort of screws into place .Any aladdin lamp will put out about the same amount of light as a 60 watt bulb when burning. The book value of what you have is [I'm sorry to say] about $35.00 to $50.00. I do hope this helps you Dan Walker

Yes, go to a Antique dealer or maybe, just maybe hobby lobby might have em. I need one for my Aladdin Lamp too.....
You can find mantles for that lamp and many others on EBAY or from many of the lamp dealers on the internet- http://www.Lehmans.com has them- most run less than 20.00 for a lox-on mantle-if you want the good ones(made in Brazil-over 60 watts)-they will cost around 30.00 but worth it--
