Help! This Forestville pendulum wall clock is from our State Park Museum in Johnsville, California. The clock works, but is missing the hour hand. If you have a matching hour hand (see photo) or both the hour and minute hand we would like to purchase the hand or hands.
You have the hour hand. You are missing the minute hand. That will have to be handmade as no one is making replacement "club" hands. Unique style to early American clocks. Better to have the mate made than to change the hand style. A seldom seen clock maker. And in fine condition if the movement is complete and working. Best Wishes.

You would need to measure the clock dial and try to match up the existing hour hand with the replacement hour hand length. You also need to be concerned with the proper fit of the hands on the hour cannon and minute arbor.

Bruce99 seems to have the best of it. I tried to find a handmaker on NAWCC site with no response. Merritts.com is the best to be found in made hands. IF the size is right. Measure from center to outer ring to get the minute hand length. That is how the hands are sized and ordered. And keep original hour hand secured inside case for posterity. Best Wishes..........
