Thie teapot is 5" high, 7" from handle to spout, porcelain and my folks said they bought it in Vienna in the early 80's. The merchant told my Mother it was very old and that's all I know. I would be very interested in finding out more about it if anyone might know something. Thank you!

Your beautiful tea pot is the Meissen Blue Onion pattern. Enjoy it.
The pattern originated in the 18th century, is still in production & widely copied. Maybe someone on this site more familiar with Meissen can help you date your piece. Or you might check Meissen back stamp references or talk to an expert.
