I am not sure what this really is but is is titled "The Missile Southwest Presents White Sands Missile Range". It is an unofficial guide but it doesn't appear to be a tourist guide because all the information relates to employment, phone numbers at the range, and other similar information. Any help on this is appreciated.

It's a base guide and phone book for residents such as military families and incoming personnel. They are given as a part of a welcome package upon arrival. I have been given one for every duty station we've been too, which included Fort Bliss, the neighboring military installation of White Sands. Fort Bliss, Biggs Army Airfield, and White Sands Missile Range are all interconnected and have a combined landmass that is the size of the state of New Jersey.

Thanks, is there any reason why it was not an official guide that would be given to personnel?

Well, the military doesn't typically advocate many publications. You could try posting the pics on the WSMR Facebook page and see what they have to say?
