This is an original stone lithograph poster advertising "The Great Dayton Show" from my private collection of Magic posters. Ca. 1930 It is printed by National Ptg. & Eng. Co., N.Y. and is a half sheet measuring approximately 21" x 28".

This is the more scarce image, and my personal favorite, used for Dayton's show that displays a striking image of a vibrant green dragon that wraps around the entire poster. A demonizing image that needs to be seen in person to truly appreciate and a fine example of stone lithography.

Although there are a few different poster images used to advertise The Great Dayton Show, this is another magician in which very little is known about.

Great image. Do you know if the dragon "frame" around the yellow square was used to advertise other acts, too?

Thanks Belltown, I appreciate the love. I believe this image was in deed a "stock image" which would have been used to advertise other performers, however I have yet to see this image advertise anyone else's show! So at this point I am only going by speculation. Hope this helps.
