    Chinese? vase. I have no idea of age, although it would help if I could read Chinese, as it appears signed on the base. Also has what appears to be hand carved wooden lid.

      I think it's Chinese, petey? They call this style 'famille vert'.
      The marks are Reign Marks.
      Check out this site:

      Nicely carved lid.

      Hi Petey! This one reads Kangxi nianzhi.
      Kangxi 1662-1722.
      Whether it is a fake mark or not I cannot tell.
      An expert would have to look at it.

      I would say so at the moment. I've seen "Flog It" Chinese items hit the roof recently. Perhaps the market may have softened a bit but even here in Oz there are ready buyers for Chinese export wares.
