A small dimpled jug with a wrythen body, probably Whitefriars circa. 1900. It is 5 inches high.

I had originally attributed this to John Walsh Walsh, but I have now seen multiple references to this pattern belonging to Whitefriars, so this is an amendment.

I have a little jug with this type of handle. But yours is much more angular. Much more Christopher Dresser. I've had mine a long time now and had been attracted to it initially because of the Aesthetic shape and colour combo. Now I feel sure it's a Bohemian copy of the fashion of the time. Yours however is what I've always thought was great and what was being copied. A wonderful jug and I love those dimples.

This is the jug that goes with the dimpled decanter you have. I need to photo the glasses and tumbles I have so you an see those too.
